Join us at the gallery on July 9th at 7:00 pm for an energizing evening with Ottawa educator and filmmaker David Chernushenko. David will screen photographs and video clips and give an empowering talk about renewal and renewable energy.

Enjoy refreshments and make a donation to The Living Lightly Project, an organization founded by David to raise awareness about environmental issues.

A slideshow of David’s photographs as well as clips from the film he is currently making, will be shown at the gallery from July 8 - 12, 2009.

Beautiful Destruction, an exhibit of aerial photographs of the Alberta tar sands by Ottawa photographer Louis Helbig, will be shown concurrently to compliment the theme of Canada’s environment. A portion of the proceeds from any prints sold on the eve of David talk (July 9th), will be donated to The Living Lightly Project.
